Our Process
From Planning to Play
Here's how Wolf takes your playground from an empty patch of ground to a fully inspected, safe, and ready-to-use play space.
01
Free Consultation & Site Visit No cost
We visit your site to assess dimensions, drainage, surface conditions, and layout options. We'll discuss equipment options, safety surfacing, and ADA requirements — and provide a detailed written estimate.
02
Equipment & Layout Planning
We help you plan the layout to maximize play value and safety zone clearances. If you've already chosen equipment, we'll work with your selections. We can also advise on reputable equipment suppliers that meet ASTM and CPSC standards.

Site Preparation
We prepare the site with proper grading, drainage, and safety surfacing — ensuring the fall zone meets ASTM F1292 impact attenuation requirements before any equipment goes in.

Equipment Installation
Our crew installs all equipment per manufacturer specifications, using proper anchoring methods and hardware. We follow ASTM F1487 standards for public playground equipment throughout the installation.

After installation is complete, our Certified CPSI Playground Safety Inspector conducts a thorough inspection of all equipment, surfacing, fall zones, and entrapment hazards — the same standards used for public parks and schools.
06
Final Report & Handoff
We provide a complete written inspection report with findings, maintenance schedule recommendations, and compliance documentation. Your playground is ready for play — safely and with full documentation in hand.
What is a CPSI Certified Playground Safety Inspector?
The Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) credential is issued by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) and is the nationally recognized standard for playground safety expertise. A CPSI is trained to identify hazards related to equipment design, surfacing, fall zones, age-appropriateness, entrapment, and maintenance. Having a CPSI on your installation team means your playground is assessed against the same standards required for public parks and school playgrounds — giving you confidence that safety isn't an afterthought. Common Questions
Playground Installation FAQ
Do you supply the playground equipment or just install it?
We primarily provide professional installation and safety inspection services. We can advise you on reputable equipment suppliers that meet ASTM and CPSC safety standards, or work with equipment you've already purchased. Either way, our CPSI inspector ensures everything is installed and inspected correctly.
Why do I need a CPSI inspection?
Schools, daycares, parks, and commercial properties often require a CPSI inspection for insurance, licensing, and liability purposes. Even for residential installations, a CPSI inspection gives you documented proof that your playground meets national safety standards — which can be invaluable if an accident ever occurs.
What safety standards do you follow?
We follow ASTM F1487 (Standard Consumer Safety Performance Specification for Playground Equipment), ASTM F1292 (Impact Attenuation of Surfacing Materials), and CPSC Handbook for Public Playground Safety guidelines throughout every installation and inspection.
Can you inspect a playground we already have?
Yes — our CPSI inspector can assess existing playground equipment for safety hazards, entrapment risks, surfacing adequacy, and maintenance issues. We provide a written report with findings and recommendations, which is useful for insurance purposes or before reopening a previously closed play area.
How long does installation take?
Most residential and small commercial installations take one to two days. Larger park or school installations may take several days depending on the scope of equipment and site preparation required. We'll give you a clear timeline in your project estimate.
Do you serve schools and public agencies?
Yes — we regularly work with schools, daycares, municipalities, parks districts, and HOAs. We understand the additional documentation and compliance requirements for public projects and are fully equipped to meet them.
